PRIDE has many projects that aim in the education of noxious weeds. Feel free to browse around our site. You can also email us if you would like to know more specific information related to what we do.
In 2002, the Nebraska Noxious Weed Advisory Committee met to define special weeds that were not noxious at the time, but had the potential of becoming a problem in Nebraska. These weeds became to be known as "The Nebraska Watch List". PRIDE invites you to check some of these weeds out to see if you might have them.

Quick Tips
For cost-effective weed control:
- Identify the weed problem.
- Use a calibrated sprayer.
- Spray at the right time with the right rate.
- Recognize that drought stressed or mature weeds will be more difficult to control.
- Follow label directions for mixing and application of herbicides.

Dilemma
While walking on a local trail, you picked a bunch of wildflowers, because you thought they were pretty. Now you are not so sure you should have picked them, and you are tired of carrying them anyway. What should you do?
1. Throw them down next to the trail out of sight.
2. Carry them to the nearest trash can and throw them in the trash
3. Offer them to your friend. Pretend you picked them for her.
